I'm Rodge Villanueva, the Banana Distribution Manager of New Era Philippines ,and I've been working with the visitor for 5 years and counting. I have been a fan of the streetwear brand ever since I bought my first New York Yankees 39THIRTY back when I visited the states in 2015.

I am always biased with the 39THIRTY since information technology was my kickoff cap fashion back in the U.s.. Through the years, New Era has expanded and is now readily bachelor online: neweracap.ph, Shopee , Lazada , Zalora ,and in-stores .

I enjoy collecting the 39THIRTY from the fourth dimension that I spearheaded during my time in the Merchandising Section, with its stretch fit feature and comfortable fit.

Since my style is very simple, I always become with the basic shirts and the patently caps. As a cap collector and fan, I am confident to say that New Era is more than than just a cap brand, but more than of a lifestyle streetwear brand which tin can easily be matched with any lifestyle, and with any outfit.

A New Era for Career Growth

It's been v wonderful years already working with New Era. I am currently the caput of the Distribution Department but I started out every bit a Buyer for the Merchandising Department.

I handled the different sports leagues, collaborations, and the New Era branded categories, and New Era also has helped me grow professionally.

Basically, I am responsible for all the projects and partnerships exterior of our retail doors. That includes all the authorized retailers as well as the different collaborations with brands or artists. In a nutshell, I oversee all operations, merchandising, visual merchandising, and marketing for all of these.

Growing Partnerships and Projects

The chief purpose of my department is to augment the reach and exposure of New Era in the Philippines. We reach this through working with different brands and partners that accept the same direction and values as the make.

I have categorized our partners into 3 tiers – Lifestyle, Sports, and Tastemakers. Well-nigh of them have been with us for around 5 years already and we proceed to grow with them as well as venture to more new partners that we see fit to comport the New Era brand.

What the Partners Can Expect
It's my team's goal to always find the all-time style to serve our partners and their customers. May information technology be through offering the right merchandise, updating the visual merchandise display, improvements in customer experience, branding improvements, proper promotions, etc. Through this, we can make sure that our partners continue to grow with us.

The New Era Manner with Distribution
Currently, New Era stores are only available in the cardinal cities in the Philippines. In partnering with different retailers, we are able to get our merchandise to reach more people who are avid supporters of the make.
It's also best to know that all brands cater to different markets. With partnerships that nosotros do, nosotros are able to expose our make to new people who besides appreciate the adroitness of our merchandise.

The greatest learning for me is having to uphold the make values (Individuality, Authenticity, Pride, and Collaboration) with the conquering of new partners and maintaining good relationships with the electric current partners.

What to look frontward to?

The large thing that our partners and customers can wait this twelvemonth is the expansion of product lines and categories that we will exist offer. This is a part of New Era's goal to be a full lifestyle and streetwear brand. You can besides watch out for new potential partners and 6 local brand collaborations.
